I really don't now how much more simplified this offense can get. We run up the middle 90% of the time.

I've often wondered how enjoyable it was for defensive cord. to study LSU game film. I can call 95% of LSu's offensive plays before they happen. Hey lets run a reverse with 10 guys on the line of scrimmage like last week. i admit that was unexpected

Why not make it easy if Harris can not grasp it? Gordy said on radio broadcast that we had the picture signs made and they were in the locker room before the game. The same type the spread offenses use. This will simplify the play calling for Harris and allow our better athletes to be in the game? Les just being hardheaded as usual
I can't understand how people think it's the offense that is keeping harris from starting. The issue is his ability to read a defense/blitz and adjust to the protection that prevents him from getting killed or throwing interceptions.
Until last week, every time he came in the other team blitzed him and sacked him. He had a good showing against a three man front and prevent defense.
with that said, he is the future. I think he will be a pro one day. however, miles is trying to protect him physically and mentally so he can be that player.

have to give them credit though...they ran it with Quinn twice in first 3 games...State never saw Dural getting a reverse

What was funny is that when we lined up before the 4 downs of doom at the goaline. I told my buddy they are about to throw the fade route to Dural, and wouldnt you know it he threw the fade route. This offebsw tips its hand in every single thing they do. How about patting the butt to signal where to run but now its playaction alot. GTFO with that bullshite

whoever is calling the plays isn't attempting to fool anyone, that's for sure.

Miles can fool the average fan but not anyone with experience.
Do you not think that the fact LSU was down 16 points with 4:00 to go in the game had anything to do with the fact that LSU was in a "wide open" offense at that time?
Also, here's a newsflash. It's much "simpler" to make reads and throw out of a shotgun, 4 wide set, than it is to read and locate WRs out of the pocket coming from under center

Peewee teams have more complicated playbooks than LSU.
