IDK, its a little mind boggling how everyone here says he's a 100% gone to NFL and he doesnt even lead his own team in carries.

I dont get it either.

Ignoring the facts?

Maybe it was a deal Hill struck with Miles and his teammates to allow him to play this year.

After all, sharing is caring.

rumproast Why isn't Jeremy Hill getting the ball more?? Not really complaining....as McGee and the others are doing a solid job. But, it sure seems like Hill gets in and does his thing, and then he's out for about half the game. Is he hurt or something?

Hill played a good game, but Magee had the hot hand and played a better game. They also got Hilliard and blue some carries which keeps everyone happy and feeling like contributors. Heard hill did get a nicked a little though. Coaches did the right thing by going with the hot hand.

Hill was running the ball well in the first half. Other than the Magee big run, Hill was the better runner in the first half Saturday.

In the second half, did Hill have 2, 3, 0 carries? I don't know, but I'd like to know. I remember he wasn't hardly ever in the game, then he caught a pass out of the backfield for about 15 yards, then he went back to the bench.

Hill wore that defense down, then had to sit on the sidelines while others benefitted from the tired defense.

Jeremy Hill is our best back. He had a 16 yard run and a 9 yard run in the first series of the second half, and then didn't get another carry for the rest of the game. A pretty big game that was only a two score difference. Something happened.

I thought it was injury, but he came in on a passing play later and then went right back to the bench.

I love Blue as much as anyone and thought he should have been playing all season. And obviously we did fine. But that was not the time to get everyone on the field. So what happened? Hill didn't look too happy about it either.

We rush for 324 yards and people complain about RB personnel decisions

If that isn't retardation i don't know what is.

It goes to recruiting. It goes to reasons why elite athletes leave LSU early instead of staying another year. See Reuben Randle. See Jeremy Hill, he so gone.

I can't find that information on the LSU website. Could you please provide a link to it? Thanks.

LSU has been having amazing success recruiting the running back position with its philosophy. Frank Wilson is the engineer of the pitch they now use, and it has been a huge boon.

Thanks Jon1798. 2 second half carries for 26 yards, 1 catch for 15 yards, and nearly every other play of the second half on the bench. That makes me think Les doesn't want Jeremy Hill to stick around next year.

It's called "I am headed to the pros and don't want to run over anyone or get hurt"

I noticed this last year with a lot of our players...playing softer when the seasons bid for a championship ended.

Watch closely and you will see them avoiding unnecessary contact.

Part of the modern game now.

Except for the good running backs already on roster. The runners that have already proven to be SEC caliber. See Spencer Ware.

Oh good grief!!

If Miles had left Hill in the game and he gets hurt, all of you idiots would be blasting him for playing Hill in a blowout.

Over the course of a long season a running back's body takes some pretty hard hits and they all add up. Why subject any of them to more than needed especially if you have capable back ups ready to play.?

Which explains why Miles does what he does and you do...............whatever. Which explains why Miles males what he does and you make way way less.
