re: Why is everybody so sure that Loston is a RS?

i don't had chad at all. I think he is slightly overated in FB and vastly underrated so far in BB. I think that his future is in baseball because he is a lefty with great velocity-not to mention that his power hitting game could come with more reps. I think he is too slow to play FS and/or his instincts coupled with his football speed are too slow for FS and he should be at SS or OLB. Obviously I hope I am dead wrong and he is comparable to Laron at FS and dominates. Only time will tell.

I hate when people say things and don't show or give proof.
I don't like using this as an example, but here it is and show's you CJ is not slow.
Dick saves McFadden from getting horse collared

I have seen that video before. What i see is McFadden trotting away from Chad Jones. He is not running full speed, but Chad is and Chad never even gets close enough to dive at him.

You are such a jackass. CJ sucked that dude up, simple

sucked up that dude...please...McFadden was not in full stride...he ran a 4.27 at the NFL combine...CJ is not close to that...sorry..

Everyone's body heals differently. I actually broke the schapoid bone in my left wrist a few years ago while playing a sport for my high school. I played with a taped wrist and wore a hard, removeable cast when I wasn't playing. My wrist healed on its own within 8 weeks. Surgery was an option but I decided against it. Obviously, the seriousness of Loston's fracture could be vastly different than mine. But I'm just trying to provide a little insight from someone who has been through that injury.

Couldn't he gain experience in the first half of the season and with cast removed, emerge as a starter midway through the season a la Laron and Peterson?
For all of our clueless football fans, the answer is no.
Loston is headed for a redshirt due to the injury.

very true; not going to debate DMAC is faster, but CJ sucked him up on that play. period. Don't give me "he was trotting" or "he wasn't full stride"
CJ pulled himself away from a hold from the OLine AFTER Dmac passed him up.
This is a completely ridiculous thread.

I don't think he is even academically qualified yet. At least not officially.

i like redshirting because it can make him only better. I think a lot of this has to do with the success of K Hatcher and if Ste Francois can live up to his billing.
If they both are stars in fall practice alongside Ron Brooks, then why not rs loston. Again, a lot of things need to happen, but if that is the case, then give him 5 to play 4.
can only help.
