The ball at least once this entire season? I just don't get it, the guy was a parade all American, #1 Dual threat QB, and you tell me that he hasn't progressed enough ALL SEASON LONG to be able to throw at least one damn pass???

agreed, & everytime he comes in everyone in the stadium knows it's a run, so the D stacks the box

saving it for 2011. Can't show all of our plays to our opponents.

We'd probably be undefeated if Shepard threw the ball.

I wish we had a vault of all the stupid posters saying that Crowton was setting it up.

We will start losing elite recruits if we don't showcase our young stars.

Early Doucet, Jared Mitchell, and Michael Clayton were all QB's who never threw a pass at LSU. Maybe they are switching him, but not telling us.

Until he actually takes a snap under center (not shotgun), I'll assume he is a RB/WR.

It's a mystery to me.

Why hasn't RS been allowed to play in the 4th quarter???All he does is get positive yards and breaks a big one here and there

I think it's been obvious he was not going to use Shep as a QB this year. He has practiced more as a RB/WR. JJ is the QB and has earned the job. Shep was used more for his feet. Shep can try to beat out JJ for the starting QB job...but I doubt he gets it. A new OC could make things interesting.

Shep has no desire to throw. If he does, it will be no different than any other RB throwing from a run look.

I dont think you understand what most WANT (haha had to do it). We dont think Shep should be the QB over Jefferson but the kid should get a chance to throw the ball on a HB pass or out of the wildcat. I see absolutely no reason why this hasnt been done so far. Even it is incomplete at least the defense now knows he is a threat to throw the ball.

Sheppard threw a pass in the 3rd quarter against Ark. It was a short drag to I believe Dickson complete for 4 yds. I kid you not it was called back on a procedure penalty.
