I often wonder if some of you even follow football at all? It has been well known for quite awhile that you can only have I believe 9 coaches on the field. The NCAA had this ruling for quite awhile and was suppose to vote this offseason to add another coach but the put that ruling off.

Have a feeling it's back to the dinardo era when kickers were practicing on their own and kicking at trashcans with nobody helping them or even giving them drills.

It was sarcasm you choad. I'm not a "Miles hater" or whatever you try to lump people together with. I'm an LSU fan.
The only thing to be concerned with is someone putting it between the uprights and maybe some discipline, but holds and blocks in the back on kicks are going to happen, coach or no coach.

Sorry, gotta develop that sarcasm font

Hard to argue with that but I do think that

can be largely remedied with discipline. I could be wrong though.

You don't sound very confident about something that is "well known for quite awhile".

one reason is because we have 2 DL coaches in our limited number of coaches

I will admit I did enjoy winning and, being an LSU fan, I tend to be all in on whoever the coach is currently. I also don't like to irrationally disparage the work done by previous coaches with inaccuracies, which is what I thought the person I was responding to did (turns out it was just sarcasm, I apologized)

he got fired because he was dumb coach.

I thought the narrative was that he was too stubborn?

I didn't see that so I won't comment, since I don't know the context. Any chance you can provide me with a link so I can watch it myself?

He is GONE, the haters won,

He is gone, probably needed to be. I really wish Alleva could have handle that whole situation a little better.

I'm all in, doesn't mean I have to think everything is peachy when there are clearly some issues (which O says as well).

Don't think I ever implied I am. None of us are, are we?

Also more touchbacks in one game than the entire time Miles was the coach.
with an average start of 25

The short kick started at the 22

Why do simpletons want it kicked out of the endzone?

Kickers will lose us at least 1 game this year!

There's no chance of a return for TD.
There's no chance of returning it to the 26 +.
There's no chance of an injury.
There's no chance of a person foul on a bad hit and someone getting ejected.

You're risking all that for 3 yards? Or hoping for a fumble?
Just kick it in the end zone and play defense. It's still 10yds for a 1st down if they start at the 25 or the 22.

The season average for corner kicks yielded a worse starting position.

Turnovers occur much more often than Big returns. Penalties are prevalent on kick returns. Flipping field position right away. The high corner kick is used all throughout football for a reason.

Look, if it can be consistently placed in the corner near the goal line I'm fine with it. I have to agree, the average starting position would be excellent.
We're also taking a chance it goes out of bounds or it being kicked short and it's returned well beyond the 25.
I'd like to see the numbers on the drives that started on the 35 or were returned beyond the 25. How many times did the team score or flip the field position.
I'm just not a fan of the short kick that's all.

All I'm asking is we don't judge our Kickoffs by if they go deep in the end zone or not. We saw that Gamble can blast them out of the Endzone.

Our ST are not good all around, but our KR team is full of fast athletic guys. Let's use them to create plays

Special teams were vastly improved from game 1 to game 2, with the exception of FG kicking.

It's better to coach by committee on ST than have a incompetent coach like last year's Peveto.

Teams expected the additional coach to be in play this year. Instead of losing Meatball, CEO kept McMahon on as consultant who's working with assistants to implement everything. He just can't be on field or directing ST meetings.
