They talking about buying out other teams on the radio to move the game. FL canceled. Don't they owe us money for this game

Seems like there probably is some sort of revenue sharing for the SEC. All home games pooled and distributed by SEC. This will just be less money in the overall pool

LSU doesn't spend money on this game out side of travel. The buy out is because big schools pay little schools for rent a wins. In turn the smaller schools get help funding their program.
If the game is moved to 19th. LSU would still owe south Alabama whether the played or not.

Exactly what I was thinking. We have to pay to cancel our game to play FL when the SEC wants us to play it... Crazy

Our AD said that we offered everything we could to play the game. If you believe him, then FL refused to play. So now we can play them when the SEC allows it and not have a home game and pay our opponent to stay home...why doesn't FL owe us money?
