Right. We have much more to gain by playing Jacksonville State and Chattanooga.
LSU cannot play every Louisiana school every year. We played ULL in 2009. I do wonder why we got away from playing at least one in state school every year in football. No reason we cannot schedule McNeese, ULL, LaTech, UL Monroe, NSU, Southeastern, Southern, Grambling and Tulane on a rolling basis. Especially when we are scheduling Jacksonville State and Troy and Chattanooga. Why are we letting all that money leave the state? And, many kids that play at those schools love LSU, but just were not good enough to play there (not knocking them because I was not good enough to play anywhere). I think those kids (and their parents/grandparents) would love the opportunity to run out of the tunnel at Tiger Stadium and have a memory of a lifetime.
Loved it whenever Skip and Smoke made it a point to travel to Louisiana schools for games.

With what I am paying for my season tickets, I do not want to play Southern, Grambling, S.Eastern, Nicholls, McNeese, et al just so their players would have "a memory of a lifetime". Out of the other teams listed, only La. Tech has sold its allotment of tickets, though McNeese probably came close. ULLLLL has never sold its ticket allotment. Tulane, never. ULM, never.

FYI.. In 2010 McNeese sold its entire allotment and requested more tickets from LSU which they sold.

You could not be more wrong. I graduated from ULL and so did a large number of my friends. We are all fans of LSU, as well as ULL.

Not true. I graduated from ULL. I was a LSU fan before I enrolled there, while I was there, and after I graduated.

But you are good with us playing Jacksonville State and Chattanooga? We cannot play a top five team every week just to appease you. Nobody forces you to buy those tickets. If you don't like it, somebody else will pick them up.

When you play Jacksonville St. and Chattanooga then all you have to do is win the game. You don't have to win by a certain margin and you don't have to worry if an out of state opponent tries to use a good performance against you to their benefit. That's exactly what ULL wants to do. They want to enhance their image at LSU's expense and we shouldn't let it happen.

There are UL fans who root for LSU too, but there's a ton of haters Who are more vocal.
