I wouldn't mind playing bama again. But I think Oregon would go before bama if they won their conference.

I wouldn't say "scared" but I want another of those crystal ball trophies and Bama is about the only team really standing in our way. We took the test...we passed it. Ditto with Oregon. A rematch favors Bama, even in the Dome. Next time I want to see them on the field...at night in Tiger Stadium in 2012.

Why worry about something, like a NC game, that we have absolutely no control over today (11/19/11). At this point in time, all I care about is beating Ole Miss tonight. Next week, I'll care deeply about Arky...maybe. All this other stuff is idle speculation at this point.

Alabama ia the best 'other' team out there. Their fanbase lost my esteem, maybe forever, since their sniveling TideFans forum banned us cause they figured we'd hurt their feelings.

But this isn't about fans, it's about players and I feel pretty secure that CLM will have our fine young men thinking only about Ole Miss tonight.

I disagree that a rematch favors Bama. Especially when that rematch is basically at home (where the first game was away in the most hostile forum imaginable)....And the rematch is on artificial turf....which favors the "speedier" team. Advantage LSU.

I'm more worried about LSU playing Arkansas, because honestly I think Arkansas will have the best case for playing in the NC game if they beat LSU next Friday. So that game will mean a lot for both, and Arkansas always plays LSU tough.

Plus, LSU has never had an undefeated season in my lifetime so I'm a little concerned that the weight and pressure of the situation might get to be too much in these last three games.

At the moment LSU/Bama looks like the NC Game though. But really, playing in NOLA, I don't see anyone having a chance to beat LSU if they take care of business and end up in the BCS Championship Game.

Why a rematch?

We could drop the BCSNC on a bad play or two after the gauntlet schedule.

The NC should be based on the entire season of performance. We have already taken down AL, OU and will have a Top 5 ARK team next week.

WTF else do we have to do to prove ourselves?

Beat # 2 twice? So we drop the BCSNC, WTF makes us any less deserving of the crystal in a rematch against a team we beat outside Tiger Stadium.

It is a f--ked up situation this year. And we are the guys that could get the big time screw job.

4 more Ws and F everyone else ....

Not scared, but playing them again makes the first meeting meaningless.

If there is another team with no losses at the end of the year, then they should get a shot.

LSU beat Oregon and Bama. That usually means they are better. It would be better to play someone who hasn't had a shot at LSU.

Or in the case of a rematch, to be the best you get a split.

They act like us not wanting to play them again is being scared. Why should we have to want to play them again when we already beat them? frick those dudes.

They act like that because it's true. I don't see anyone saying, 'oh frick, I hope we don't have to play Oregon again.'

I hope Bama gets by Aubie. It will be epic getting to beat them in the BCS Championship game.

Not wanting to play Bama again doesn't mean we are scared.

1. I would prefer LSU play a conference champion.
2. Why would any LSU fan want Bama to make it the BCS title game regardless of who the opponent would be?
3. Bama didn't win its own division.

How is it a screw job? Win when it counts. If we'd already played Georgia would you think that they shouldn't be allowed to play in the SEC Championship game. That happened in 2003 and there was no talk about it being unfair then. WTF is everyone so damn scared of? Me, I've got faith in the Tigers.

The reason I don't want to play Bama is economics. Bammers will head to NOLA in droves and drive up ticket prices. I'll get two tickets from LSU but need four. I was hoping for Stanford since the tickets would probably be Cheaper.

Exactly. That's what I was trying to tell a few of the gumptards last night. Their fantasy is that they get a chance to redeem themselves from losing on November 5th, and LSU fans are squirming. Fact of the matter is, LSU fans ain't squirming. What they fantasize to be the case and what is reality are two different things.

I actually knew a couple of Bama fans IRL that were convinced they were going to beat LSU by at least 2 td's on 11/5. And there was no convincing otherwise. That's how Alabama fans are though. If they get it in their head, they will fight to the death no matter how illogical or unrealistic it is.

Scared is not the reason no one wants to play Bama. If bama would make it to the NC game vs LSU and win, then we are 1-1 for the season yet they would be crowned champions. Does that make any sence, being we beat them at home and would have lost at a neutral site. I know it's very possable and you just have to deal with it, but bama had their chance, at home.

frick those guys. If they get in that means they were rewarded for losing at home and not playing an extra game vs a top 10 team

They're college footballs version of a POS welfare recipient.
