Why does it seem Landry doesn't receive the attention he deserves?

I think hes the best player on the team and he's proved himself over and over again, but it still seems to me he's going overlooked. overlooked nationally that is

everytime someone mentions LSU's offense, they say that ODB and Landry are one of the best WR tandems in CFB

what else do you want?

He's probably just being overshadowed by Mettenberger's phenomenal improvement.

Odell drops way too many. He can break it though

Landry is a biletkinoff finalist

Landry is best receiver but no way is he better than Mett or more important to the team.

this. and it's painfully obvious that Mett prefers Landry as a target.

Wtf does it matter. It is good to have both. They are very different receivers and they bring different abilities to the table.

Well, nationally speaking Herbstreet gave Landry some pub preseason, I believe as a guy who will become a household name.

Desmond Howard has singled him out on Gameday, claimed Jarvis is one of his favorite players in the country.

Herbstreet gave him love specifically on Gameday last week.

Jesse Palmer on Sportscenter called him the best slot receiver in college football.

Seems like he's getting his due.

Not necessarily true. Landry's yardage is almost equaled by OBJ. Many of Landry's TD's have also come from outside the red zone.

Also, number of targets can be attributed just as much to coverage and route preference. Just look at Boone's two TD's where OBJ and Landry were covered.

Landry gets the look when we NEED something big, ODB gets it when we're hoping for something bigger.
