EVERY game has a meaning when you are playing for your colors! I don't care if it's pee wee, high school or college. If you put on that damn uniform...IT HAS MEANING! People who don't believe that have never put on a uniform and played. The concern that I have is where does it stop? Just like they said this morning, "Will high school kids that signed a scholarship, decide not to play"? This is going to go beyond LF and his injury. Especially since Butt go hurt last night. Amateur sports are never going to be the same!

They can risk losing scholarships too. It works both ways.

Of course this game has meaning, and I'm sure it does mean something to LF7. However, there r times in life where you have to think with your wallet and not you heart. I anticipate a rash of players sitting for the next couple of years until it starts to hurt some of their draft stock.

For men on the Bubble draft wise, bowl games are huge. For underclassmen wanting that starting spot next year, these games are huge.

LF could have sat out the game with his ankle injury but signing with an agent and getting that bling was more important than being a teammate and sticking it out.

If there is nothing to play for (like a championship) then it's defined as meaningless.

It's not a playoff game and it does nothing but probably lose money for the school. Completely meaningless and no one with anything to lose (Fournette, McCaffery) should be playing. Go ask Jake Butt about it

And that's the entire point right there

Thank you and Happy New Year!
