no good polish restaurants in BR?

complete collapse of oline 1-9-12?

complete 2nd half capitulation of oline vs bama this year.

it's a good move for all parties involved. didn't think it would happen but Les saw what fresh air did for our offense and qb. good move....hope the best for Studs and appreciate his contribution.

People give Stud a lot of crap and I agree to a certain extent. He isn't a good enough oc for a team like lsu that pulls in elite talent and has the expectation of putting up huge numbers. I do appreciate him for being asked to be oc just before the 2011 season began and lost his starting qb. He did enough for the offense that season to get us into the nc game. And then the rest of the story tells itself.

most of the time he was here. I just think that Les finally realized effective wasn't good enough. we ain't looking to be effective, we need elite.

why do you think Studrawa left?

Because his boss told him that he would no longer be the OL coach or employed by LSU & it would've been very awkward to have him just hanging around the AD.
Seriously, the guy makes $500,000 a year & has not produced quality linemen & is not doing a very good job in his recruiting area (NLa). I would have liked to have seen him leave before last year but I guess later is better than never. And let's face it, Les doesn't often send his assistants out to "pursue" other opportunities, he usually waits to announce that they have another job, seems like he wasn't willing to wait on Stud. Probably told him to refresh his resume, gave him a little time to save face but eventually had to move to make sure he got his replacement.

I understand Stud's promotion in 2011 but why was he still OC in 2012? Never should have been anything other than a stop gap measure to get LSU through that one season.

All it says in the articles was that he left to pursue other opportunities.

holy shite people are dense. he was FIRED. in fact, he was the first coach Les straight out fired before they had already found a new job. (that coach we fired for breaking the rules aside)

Maybe because our quarterback had to crawl off the field in the Alabama game? Or maybe, because in the Arkansas game, because of lack of protection again, he tore his ACL and missed the bowl game? Stud's offensive lines were not very effective and almost had Mett killed this season. Reason enough I would say.

I am quite sure that Cam was pissed as he watched his QB get destroyed by an OL that got dominated and then quit.

I would not be surprised if after that game Cam told Les that Stud had to go.
