to Alabama? Really? If he really wanted a change he would have gone to California, Ohio, Texas, or a number of places. So stupid when they say they want 'out of Louisiana" and wind up at Alabama. They aren't going their because they want "out of Louisiana" they are going there because they know the team is stacked and they are going to win championships. They are going because they don't really like a challenge or the fight it takes to be the underdog.

LSU cooled on him because of some off the field issues if I remember correctly

They go to Alabama because they got no chest, no fight in them. They know they are going to get a championship trophy with out having to put in the work or the challenge that it would take to actually go out and win it

This comment can't be serious.
I'm not going to blame the kid for wanting to play for one of the most successful coaches who put 1st round linebackers in the NFL year after year.
Not everyone likes LSU as much as we do. It's up to the coaches to make that happen in recruiting. They didn't. It's on the coaches as recruiters, not the kids who made a good decision and will make more money in their 1st year than you will ever make in your life combined.

So all louisiana recruits should go to Kansas
They should get a "real challenge", right?

in part Id guess its the same reason I was always worried about Moses, because they go to Lab. for those you might not know, that HS is literally on the LSU campus, less than 1 mile from Tiger Stadium.
"close" is great but there's such a thing as too close. its perfectly normal for a kid to want to get away from home a little when they go to college, and crossing the street doesn't exactly qualify.

You have no idea how much money people on this board make.

Didn't want to deal with Les

I do have an idea of how much 1st round NFL players make. I see your point, but the signing bonus of Goff last year was $18.5 Mil. If you make that in all your years combined working then you're doing well.

Well no shite.
Why do you think people go to Harvard, Penn, MIT, CalTech etc over LSU. Because the greater chance of 'WINNING.'

I agree with most of your post. Just shouldn't make assumptions like that. Kind of ruins the post.
