It's super weird to see a kid playing in the Cape while his team is still in the post season.
I know Mainieri said he regrets not putting him on the roster, but the additional time he got on the Cape and realization he had to go through from being left off the roster did wonders for his development as a player and eventually as a team leader.

Still don't understand taking Grayson Byrd to Omaha and leaving sending Kramer home. Obviously, CPM was not reading the signals because Byrd soon announced that he was not coming back to LSU for the next year.

Everyone on roster should be allowed to go. They do it in football. Walk one, red shirts, etc go to bowl games. You're probably only talking about 10 extra people per team.

He couldn't hit the ball and he had an injury. Grayson Byrd was definitely the better player between Byrd and Robertson at the time
