He would be a junior and with LeFell returning he felt he wouldn't see much PT this year. He apparently shopped three I-AA schools before deciding on TS. RP tried to recruit him for Jacksonville State, but he ain't no RS when it comes to recruiting.

he was a nice guy and a hard worker. IF you knew anything about those guys personally, you would know that what i say about him is the truth. i NEVER said that LSU screwed him but IN MY OPINION he should have had more play time.

I think D. Peterson got more snaps than dixon at the receiver position. Thanks for the contribution at receiver and good luck at TSU.

Huge mistake...but I hope it works out for him. Texas Southern is bush league football played on a high school field compared to LSU. He will be playing with second level talent so either he didn't think he could cut it in div1 or he his looking to make a splash in a smaller pond. Hopefully his talent will allow him to overcome this decision.

Can't blame the guy for just wanting to play. He only has 2 years left and doesn't wan to waste them sitting on the bench. Besides the bands are a lot more entertaining in the SWAC.
