Does this actually happen? Or is this just an assumption based on emotions? I don't think anyone actively cheers for the other team.

A lot of us wanted change but as long as Miles is here then I certainly don't WANT him to fail. I'd rather see him win championships and be immortalized.

there were plenty of threads before the Ole Miss game about how posters were actively rooting against LSU

and then several threads of posters celebrating the loss

Love the team, am an alumnus of the school, supported since I was young enough to watch my uncle puke on fans in front of us during Cecil's days. But please, no more CLM or Alleva. Changing the water every now and then is needed, otherwise it becomes stagnant.

The fact of the matter is, it's not because we've lost 3 games necessarily, it's how the games are lost. The team has looked flat, undisiciplined, and it takes a miracle for them to be able to complete a slant pass. The lack of qb development, the passing game and miles' refusal to get with the times has been the reason for most of his criticism. If we can't rush for 200+ yards on a team, we're in for a long day.

EXACTLY. You think everyone in the country who has an opinion on this LSU has watched every play like the majority of TD (I hope to assume)? His record clouds his performance and inadequacy. Alleva, his days handling Duke lacrosse should have blacklisted him from the whole collegiate athletic society

So you want to be free to disapprove of CLM, but you don't want to hear people with opposing views???? Hmmmm, interesting!

I am right there with you on this one. I think CLM is a great guy, good family man and has never put the university in a bad light. But he is 62 years old and set in his ways. As a former offensive lineman I have asked the question, would I rather fire off the ball and run block or would I rather setup and pass block. My answer 10 out of 10 would be run block cause I liked to dominate my opponent. I have to believe with CLM being a former OL as well he has that same mentality. These past two seasons as a fan have been two of the most difficult to watch cause it just seems like we are running our heads into a wall. Yes I understand that you want your best player to touch the ball as much as possible, but there are more ways to get him involved than to just run him up the middle. LSU needs to find a short passing game and utilize all the dimensions possible. I love LSU and like CLM as a person but he isn't the right person for the job anymore.

Sounds like you have more pressing issues than Les Miles. Get counseling.

shite, sorry for not being PC, bro. You can have my oakley's back. I've marginalized those who approve of Les by not giving them the opportunity to have their own opinions this trying to further my own agenda

So what do you want to happen in 2016, 11-2 type record or 5-7,6-6? If .500 or losing record you are an idiot.

Who says any other coach couldn't put up an 11-2 season? Jim McElwain fricking brought dogshit Florida to the SEC championship!! 99% of the time you aren't accomplished until you prove something. Who was Les Miles before he came to LSU? Just some coach given the opportunity to succeed.

you didn't answer the question. Miles is coaching in 2016. Do you want a good 11-2 type year or a losing season?

Common misperceptions on rant:
Nowhere does he say that he's pulling for lsu to lose or fail to achieve.

Root against and disapprove are two totally different terms.

This garbage is where 99% of the banter back and forth come from.

Use your head, man.

I want another ring. If you're implying that Les has the ability to have an 11-2 season in this day and age over some other coach (considering he's had 3-4 in his tenure), yeah I'm moving on and taking the next shot at it. If we even come close to losing the Indy Bowl this year... What fricking 11-2 season are you thinking is gonna happen next year?

Sometimes catching a few bad breaks could be considered "unlucky". Catching multiple bad breaks every year since the beginning of the decade could be considered "you're just no longer good".

so you are saying you are wishing for a poor season,if not losing season to ensure Miles is fired in 2016.

You aren't a fan, you are a clown.
