Why can't Barrow call the defensive alignment?

One would think he has plenty of experience, in fact more than Welter, to get the job done.

I know the MLB usually gets the defense in line, but does it really matter if another linebacker position calls out the alignment?

Is this a situation like 2011 where we started Hatcher and Minter won the starting job midway through the season once he understood the defense?

IMHO, we match up much better against Bama and even A&M than we do against UGA.

I've said this from the beginning, he's the senior with experience wearing #18, can he seriously not make the calls from his spot?

There was talk after the game our LBs missed defensive calls all day that confused our secondary...it was evident something was going on back there...

I dont know but I'm tired of hearing the same story for 5 minutes every game, sometimes twice per game, about some guy that plays on our defense wearing the number 18 in a tradition started by matt mauck and the number 18 being handed down to the player that exudes the most leadership.

When I havent seen barrow take charge or make a single big play all season.

maybe we should take 18 away from him and let it sit on the sideline un used until the d wants to play better. then he can earn it back by motivating his teammates and getting them into position
