If you followed this team at all you knew this was going to be a tough year.

If you followed the team closely, you knew there was a decent chance of only scoring 1 run against a team like Tulane. However, you didn't expect to give up 7 against Tulane or 12 against Lamar, 7 against Ball State or 6 against Bama. This was supposed to be one of the best pitching staff's we've had in recent memory. That's why people are frustrated.

Joe isn't gonna fire Paul. If he doesn't fire Nikki or Johnny then Paul isn't going no where. Joe doesn't have any power it's all King Alexander.

Mac scrammed pronto. Latz injury. Godfrey Peaced out along with Byrd after a year of it. Guys still contributing: Lange, Pap, Deichman, and the twins.

We could still have Barash, but that wasn't really on PM. He made a bad choice. We could still have Zardon, who, let's face it would be better at 3B or could play 2B moving freeman to 3B. Or could DH. We could still have Dean or Cade Stone, guys pushed out the door. This is why we are where we are and why we had to bring in so many transfers this year and needing them to contribute so much.

I agree. We will see how the rest of the season shakes out. But the excuses need to stop.

Sooner or later, he needs to get us back to winning in Omaha. I know that A&M and Florida are extremely good right now but Alabama? Jesus, we should not have lost that series.

"His ego is way over the top" is the exact statement coming from an A&M buddy of mine. "There's something wrong with that guy" is what he said.

I would love for him to prove me wrong. No pitchforks in my garage, I assure u.

Just disappointed..was expecting LSU to be at least the best team in Louisiana...looks like that's too much to ask judging by tonight

Not giving up on a 15-15 SEC record & sneaking into Florida State Region

We'll likely to go A&M or one of the Mississippi schools. Depends if the state of Texas gets another host.

Doubt two SEC teams get seeded into a region...they usually do a good job of separating them

PM's job should be on the Hot Seat
He has brought home 1 National Champioship
I don't care how many coach of the year awards he gets or number of wins he gets a yr
LSU=NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
PM is 1 and done.

I'm not sure what you mean here... SEC schools at opposite ends of the seeding often get paired up (ETA: I'm an idiot. Not true. Thinking supers). In the southeast, with so man schools, few teams travel very far.

That isn't possible unless you're talking about a different A&M or Southern Miss.

No I just looked. I was wrong. I thought I remember it happening last year and us even talking about it, but it doesn't look like it. Must have been supers.

I could have sworn Arkansas went to aTm last year. I was looking for the link for proof only to be like "WTF was I thinking?"
