Not sure of the name but there's a guy near shreveport who has a crap ton from natural gas I believe. He had the big Lsu wall along I 49

A lot of big $ boosters are Shreveport area guys - Scotty Moran, Hank Anderson, Bo Campbell just to name a few.

CEO of Landry's Restaurants. UH grad and huge booster. Net worth is 2.7 billion, which is why I stated in another thread that UH can match anyone dollar for dollar, if so inclined (and, I believe, they are so inclined).

Pledged $20 mil towards new basketball arena, which'll be named after him (I guess it will, with that kind of cheese pledged).

Think of him as UH's equivalent of T. Boone Pickens at OSU.

Fertitta is also the director of The board of regents. He also is a major sports fan and was one of the original investors of the Texans but was forced to sell because of the Golden Nugget that he owns. The other side of it is the UH in its current form obviously doesn't have the prestige money isn't everything will see what happens
