Agreed

I am still on the Miles Train always have been, but he has to sure up the defense as it has been on a decline since Saban left.

I just think we need a young energetic defensive mind. Chavis may do fine. UT always had a good defense.

Hoping it don't happen, but if I had to choose it would be Butch Davis. LSU would go on a Miami type run in the early 2000s.

What type run is that? Winning ONE national championship. We've already done that this decade. TWICE.

I feel confident Butch Davis or Tommy Tuberville will be the next head coach at LSU when Michigan plucks Miles after next season.

Next Season?

The verdict on RR at Mich will be in this year. If they have a bad year, he's done. However, I think they will have a solid year, and I am picking them over ND.

If RR is gone from Mich, I don't necessarily believe they come after Miles.

I would not like Tubby because of past history with aubarn, but he could get the job done. I "almost" felt for them after the 12-0 season, they got jobbed....

I think in order for them to fire RR, he needs to win less than 6 games. I haven't seen their schedule, so I don't know how likely that is. But if he goes 5-7 or less, I think they boot him. And I absolutely believe they go after Miles again. Assuming we go 9-3 or 10-2 this year.

ETA- I checked their schedule, and if they beat ND, they could start 4-0 before going to Mich St. I think they finish 7-5 this season and RR saves his job.

Gruden would most certainly be my No. 1 choice for the job, although I don't know if he would take it.

That's really not a bad choice. While I don't think Dooley is a genius at any specific football aspect, he would be the ultimate CEO coach. He gets shite done, and will probably be a great coach one day if he lands the right gig.

And he's got LSU and SEC ties.
