Whomever is HC next week it's time to start Nussmeir.

Max's arm strength is limited, and he throws rainbow deep balls. His delivery is late, and footwork is awful. Nussmeir may not fair much better but he deserves his chance to try. I'd rather see the gunslinger mentality than more of the Johnson show.

Johnson has no O-line, no running game, no play calling, no coaching and only a couple of receivers trying to make plays.
Nussmeir would have the exact same problem.
No QB can succeed under those conditions.

The problem with Max is the same problem with our extreme lack of a running game.
A complete failure at coaching the O-line.

QB is an issue but in the grand scheme of things it’s a minor one.
Joe Burrow would have trouble with this o line and the plays we are running.
I don’t see any reason to ruin 2 QBs in one season. Sucks for Max but just needs to take the lumps

Completely agree Nuss gives the team a better chance to win now. Escapability is his biggest asset and the big arm doesn’t hurt. I’m in .

Stop making excuses for him Dad. Still doesnt address his inaccuracy, poor footwork, and his noodle arm. That isnt all on the o-line.

Nuss looks to have a lot of upside but he's going to either turn the ball over so much that y'all start calling for his head or he'll be neutered so much that you don't get any overall advantage over max, who at least is familiar with the playbook.

Until we get a legit OC, then we DO NOT want to mess with Nussmeir’s head.
We have a lot of damage to undo with Max. It ticks me off that the he went from looking so promising last year to looking like he’s lost hope.

All I know is that Max was not having a good game and Nuss should have been given a couple of drives to start the 2nd half. The way the season is going it's already over anyway. We need to try different people at diff. positions and certainly at OL unless we go full portal for help next season.
