Stanford is hosting regardless, whether they are a national seed or not has absolutely nothing to do with geography.

Head to head means nothing in terms of national seeding.

What matters is how you did in your conference, how high your RPI is, quality wins against good competition.

LSU is sitting pretty

You seriously don't think LSU has locked up a National seed? Seriously?

But why do you think it is one or the other? Have you been paying attention outside of the SEC?

We can play pretend and act like we're still playing for a national seed to make the game more interesting tomorrow.

Either way, fify...

TCU is probably in more jeopardy than we are right now. And they're probably not either.

KP showed a graphic of LSU as a six seed in the beginning of the telecast tonight.

KY was knocking on the door as a possible eight seed.

Tigers won after that.

Yes please, I'm tired of being an a-hole to people, but the things people say and think they know on here...

Of course they are hosting. Let's not pretend though that we haven't seen this before. Conference A has 2 national seeds locked up, conference B has 0 or 1. Bubble teams are from conference A and B. More times than not it seems like the conference B team gets the nod. Maybe it's my imagination but it sure seems that way.

Last year, there was no regional host west of Texas even though Cal St. Fullerton and UC Santa Barbara were 2 seeds with RPI's in the low 20's.
