1. Larry Fedora (UNC)
2. Tom Herman (UH)
3. Justin Fuente (Memphis)
4. Matt Rhule (Temple)

Because, this is the more realistic level we'd have a shot at.

3. Justin Fuente (Memphis)

I know for a fact this guy can beat Ole Miss.

Clearly, the appropriate progression from the Mad Hatter is to Fedora.

Agree that this is likely the level of coach we end up with, and I don't think it's bad necessarily.

At this point I would take any of them over Les and would be fired up about Herman or Fedora.

There are rumors that, if Texas is indeed done with Strong, then Tom Herman would be next up.

I'd take 1-3. Not that familiar with Rhule, so I can't speak on the pros/cons there.

Any of them would be an upgrade over 2015 Miles. People keep bringing up his past but those years are long gone.

LSU finished unranked last year and is unranked now. They also had 3 losses in 2013 and were spared a 4th by a miracle TD drive by Jennings last second against Arkansas. The rest of the SEC wants Miles to stick around b/c he squanders talent and is easy to gameplan against.

Then hang in there Charlie

Could see them beating Tx Tech but probably not Baylor.

I would take any of them. Let's be honest with ourselves. With the way the team has been playing in the last three weeks, there are not many teams that LSU can beat.

Didn't think of Matt Rhule but I'd take him first. Second Fedora.

If my only choices are Fuente and Herman, I'll keep Miles. I'm suspicious of hiring Herman because he's only been a HC for one season. Fuente, he's trailed off some this season.

I still think we can get Dan Mullen though and I'd take him over anybody.

Edit: Apart from the dream picks like Jimbo and Chip Kelly.

Fuente also might have the Curley/Favre Effect going with his stud QB. Not that we ever bit on that before....
