My choice:

Al woods 5* that hardly showed up on the field while with the tigers but seems to be doing alright in the NFL. I believe he is in his 5th year now.

Eta: gotta throw Howard Green in there I wouldn't say a bust but damn I think he has been in the NFL like 12 years now.

He's been in the league for 5 years....played on 4 teams...and in those 5 years, hes had 2 sacks...

Yeah, he's had a solid career.

Al Woods wasn't a bust at LSU, nor was McCray. Woods didn't fit the mold of what our star DTs had been (6 footish, 290-300, quick guy that stayed in opponents back fields), but he played all 4 yrs and was productive. He really fit what Chavis liked in DTs historically, a big guy that ate up blocks and let LBs run free.

McCray just wasn't a nickel guy. Better suited at safety. But again, he played all 4 yrs and was productive.

welter. i mean who knew he would be an NFL starting LB for my jacksonville jags. Thank you LSU for giving this guy two years of quality starting experience in the SEC.

Perry Riley wasn't necessarily a busy but I've been surprised at how productive he's been in the NFL

Not sure if he was highly recruited but I don't remember Gene Lang tearing it up at LSU but had a decent career for Falcons/Broncos in the 80s

Oh, and Randall Gay had a hard time starting at LSU, yet played yrs in NFL until injuries got him

Based on his LSU career production alone, I am truly shocked that Russell Shepard has made the TB 53 man roster for 2 years.

I wouldn't call him a bust but James Wright didn't catch a pass in 13 games played last season and is playing for the Bengals now

James Wright will have a good solid NFL career after not necessarily being a bust at LSU, but not getting the stats and starts as expected from the top instate WR in his class. He has done well on special teams and has 5 receptions on the year. Not big numbers, but that's 5 times the receptions he had at LSU during his senior year. Also has three rushes for 30 yards.

All of them. According to ranters, every player is better in the NFL than in college. I mean imagine that, an NFL player better than a college player.

good one,

also there was TE for Steelers from late 80's LSU Davidson I think, Robert Royal had very good NFL career and was not a "bust" at LSU, but dont think he ever made all sec etc.

I'm just playing, good for Wright. He is a solid talent. He just happened to be behind Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry. Pretty tough to get looks when those two all-time LSU greats are in front of you and Jeremy Hill was getting so many carries.

Just not enough to go around.

Josh Booty and Craig Nall started more games in the NFL than Rohan Davey.

That gives me the sad. Rohan is my FOAT.
