Your question comes down to talent on each team currently. I think a saban coached bama team would win

I'd say LSU beats Bama 2012 and 2015, loses to 2011, and 2009 is a toss up.
I agree with this.

Also, he was on his way to building LSU into what Bama is now. He'd be having the same success. Just look at that stacked roster he left behind. Would've been a machine had he stayed. Makes me want to cry.

Seeing as Saban is a better coach now, Bama.

It's not just Saban's coaching. He has a simple formula. Bama's starter's, are literally 3 years older than most other teams players. Why, because they RS for 2 years before becoming starters, that's why Bama has the upper hand against most teams and is a recipe other teams are starting to follow. Why play 18-19 year old players when you can play 20-23 year old players. I know there are exceptions for players that are completely matured physically by 18, but it's a simple formula, oh and of course PAYING the Ref's doesn't hurt. Most Bama fans are too stupid to get that they are buying wins and NC's but rarely earning them...

Why is it Alabama QB's and players in general have less success in the NFL than LSU players. Simple, our players hit their prime in the NFL not in college unlike some of the 25 year old players for Alabama. I am sure they are payed well but are ultimately duped... It reminds me of some of the NBA teams where several stars get together on one team, probably the highest bidder and they win a Championship. You think Lebron James covet's his Champ win's with Miami Heat, basically a ringer squad, or him playing his best basketball ever by making everyone around him better and bringing that Championship to the team that originally drafted him. I bet the Cleveland Championship ring is the only ring he ever wears, while the hollow Miami Champ rings are put away collecting dust. So yeah if you just want to win a College Football NC, go to Bama and get that hollow NC win.

that's a close one. i think 2009 and 2011 were his best teams at bama.

i'll roll with lsu 2003.

the oline, dline and secondary on that team were sick. best overall we've ever been in the trenches on both sides of the ball at the same time.

I really don't know what is funnier (sadder?) to me, the original question itself, or some of the responses containing detailed analysis.

Hope y'all are getting decent rent for that space Saban occupies in your head.

Who would win between a Saban coached LSU and a Saban coached Bama if the players switched teams, too?

It would be groovy if I could go one day on an LSU board without seeing Saban or BAMA mentioned.
