I don't know if this story made it here when it was current but I'll tell it anyway. Shane Youman pitches in the Korean Baseball League in the city I live in. A star player on another team was asked in an interview who is the toughest pitcher to face in the league. Bregman if he hits and fields like he did in the regular season. He was a huge liability in the postseason.

A kid from my hometown is on the team. I asked him about certain positions, and he said that everyone was still battling, but he thought Chinea would be catcher because he mowed everyone down and PM values defense above all else. He thought Moore would be at first, and Zardon would win second because he has more power than Robertson. He felt like Poche or Bouman would be Sunday starter. He said Bouman was signed late with low expectations, but is really good and is making a move. He felt like Sciambra would be LF, and said Domangue has a chance to be closer. Also, long term he said Parker Bugg has a chance to develop into a Friday night guy.

The problem with Bregs is, he cannot keep the SS job and put on the weight needed to fill a gaping hole elsewhere.
I mean, I am sure he will still be able to hit for high average with even more power. But it is just hard to put on that extra gear and take the punishment needed to be good at that position.
I just wish Ego and Freak had not gone to the draft so soon and caused this mess in the first place...
