I know Nola will most likely be fri night and eades Saturday. But who else do we have? Cotton? Broussard?

I'm hoping Joe Broussard takes it over.....It's going to be either him or Bourgeois to start out and I think I like Bourgeois out of the pen more.
It's hard to predict that a freshman could come on and take a weekend slot....but I don't think we have an Aaron Nola in this class.

So what happens to McCune?
Is he asked to prove himself in summer ball this year or transfer?

I'd say this.....unless Dunn is going to try something crazy like change his release point or something like that.

Just want to point out we used 8 different pitchers this 6 game post-season and he never threw to 1 batter. That tells me the coaches have lost all faith in him right now, he's going to have to have a very productive summer to not end up like Kevin Berry (just flat out disappear, yet still be on the team).

Is Goody gone? What round was he taken in? Not suggesting he's be a starter or anytihng, just trying to figure out what the staff may look like.

For some reason I was thinking 9th rd. pick. In the 6th, yeah he's prolly gone.

Cody Glenn needs to step up next year, he was a big get after the draft last year.

I think Cotton becomes a front runner for closing situations

He's definitely gone, made his intentions so.

If McCune can get his act together, he'll be the 3rd starter. He had the best ERA on the team in 2011.
There may be some competition for Eades's starting spot too.
The only definite starter for next year is Aaron Nola.

I'm starting Cotton next year and not blinking an eye about it!

What exactly got him in this situation though? He was a weekend started to non-existent...that's not normal.

Supposedly lost a lot of velocity in 2011 from the beginning to the end of the season. Tired arm?
He doesn't have much movement or pop on his fastball. I am sure Dunn has worked with him, but without much success.

I thought that McCune would be back in the saddle after getting the win against Florida on the road with Snickeris catching.
He's only seen one inning of work at a time maybe a handful of times after that.

Eades should not be a starter!! He throws hard but obviously has no movement on his ball. Cotton should be the starter and Eades should relieve him!!
