Heck, I say run a 5-3/4-4 base set with Adams roaming alone up top. How fun would that be? Just let a lot of big guys run around and hit people hard on the short pass, lockdown the corners.

Problem with that is... We're the only team that runs 2 back with a te or 2 sets. That's perfect for the 5-3 or 4-4. The 4-2-5 is similar to the 4-4 as the 2 of the safety/rover can roll up close to the line of scrimmage

There is also the possibility of Jefferson improving

The most easily dismissed proposition when discussing a player that even slightly struggled during a season in accordance to rantard mentality. Players don't improve, they get replaced!!!!

I think all our DBs took a step back with Steele.

Lets see what Aranda's scheme does for these guys. I have a feeling they'll all improve their play big time.

That's true, we will have to watch and see who excels in his system. Only time I've seen gage was in the spring game and he really looked lost, its gonna be tough for him to play anything but ST

Jefferson will be the other safety. He has NFL potential & the most experience.

Think i like Battle a little more. Jefferson kinda took a step back last year after the first 3 games or so; was really good in flashes the year before

I really think battle has all the tools, deal is we will play probably 6 guys early and settle on 4-5 by SEC play(Adams JR, Jefferson SR, Battle JR, Paris JR, Xavier Lewis RSFR Saivion FR) wouldn't be surprised to see White play some snaps at S either on third and long, he could be lethal playing centerfield with a great pass rush
