Who was the great, old Advocate sports writer from the '60s

that analyzed LSU football games and made a prediction every Friday.

Cannot think of his name, but he was the lead sportswriter at the Advocate for years. (back then, it was the State Times and Morning Advocate)

Can someone jog my memory?

Hardesty was on the State-Times, King on the Advocate.

Ted Costello, he is a legend, He was working the game last night. Saw him in the Florida press area of the PMAC. He must be 90 yrs old. He was using a walker to move around

I can't remember but I think he had a French last name and he was pretty short in height.

Hmmnnn, this guy before me said his name...
