seriously, what does an NFL OC make? No one would pass up doubling their salary. I know it's a step backwards going from NFL to college OC, but if the price is right, anything is possible. Let the money do the talking.

I wonder if Cam Cameron is closely related to Kirk Cameron? Might explain a lot.

Is Kirk free for hire?

2013, just like 2006, underachieved on offense. I agree

yeah thats not abnormal

Alabama is on their 4th in 8 years.

Coordinators come and go.

And to be honest 1 of ours is sorta a miss fire because Krag got/has Parkinsons.

I would like Rhett Lashlee.

Lashlee doesn't really run Auburn's offense. It's mostly the Gus Bus

I know, but he has coached under him for 7 years, so I assume

1. he knows it pretty well, and possible could run it himself
2. might want to step out of the shadows and do that.

i was thinking practical too.

I like Oregons offense and the Saints. Both are that coveted 'pro style', that both run and pass often, it's just that they open up the field to get players in space with room to make plays. I think the players would like it, it would attract even more recruits, and it's good experience to be in a current NFL style system instead of an old school NFL style system.

It doesn't matter. They will still have to run Miles' offense. LSU could save a pile of money and just have Miles call his plays in directly like Miss State and do away with the position.

you may have a point ???

oregon is only "pro-style" because chip kelly runs it at the eagles.

they run a shite ton of option. plus we have seeing get shut down bet SEC defenses (Auburn, LSU)

the Saints offense is rarely balanced, and it definitely isn't a system offense that you could just plug any shmo into. Which is what i would prefer.

At the end of the day, if i had to run a spread, i would go with auburns.

If we get a guy who can throw it, great, Cam threw it all over the place, if we have a guy who can only throw it so so, fine we can always recruit an athlete to run the ball.

To be fair, that 2011 LSU defense was one of the best in college football history and Oregon put up 27 pts on it, more than anyone else I think. Auburn's defense was good too when they played. I like that Oregon seems able to plug in a new QB every couple years without much drop off. Some elite defenses are able to slow it down, but most teams can't.

I agree that trying to run the Saints offense at LSU prob isn't gonna work great.

Then we can't get rid of Cam. He's "Fireproof".
