Baylor scares me more than Minnesota because Baylor has a shite ton of talent but has just underachieved.

They save Volz for us and he pitches like the 1st RD MLB prospect he was expected to be and all of a sudden we're in the loser's bracket.

Minnesota has the offense to hang. Baylor doesn't and they commit errors in streaks.

IMO I think it would be fun to play a team like Minnessota. There is not doubt in my mind that we will win the regional so it would be cool to play someone we are not likely to play again...

Probably 'sota by a hair. Baylor has more talent, although not the better team, and Baylor has a solid LHP starter. Minnesota's only viable LHP starter is a pretty good middle reliever. Minnesota would be the smaller risk for the upset, IMO.

Don't forget the game against 4 seed Minnesota in the 2001 Regional. If not for an error on the CF in the 7th, we probably lose the opening game.

Even though that has nothing to do with tomorrow. But it's still some nice history between the two.
