Bo and Barry Sanders were the best single players, but it was tough to stop the 49ers!

Your name is awesome. It conveys the wisdom you bring to this board and to our lives. My life is now better that you have graced us with your superior football knowledge and lifestyle. I aspire to be you.

ETA: I kind of agree with your original point, but you've been a douche.

You know, being married to someone who is smart doesn't allow you to claim higher intelligence. For proof, just talk to my wife (If you're reading this honey, your beauty by far makes up for it).

I disagree on if we are talking Super Tecmo Bowl Christian Okoye was impossible to tackle when you played as the Chiefs, and Derrick Thomas was a beast on Defense you could block every field goal with him.

Okoye was as good as Bo too, yeah. Dunno if he was better. I forgot about Thomas--he was so good, he could block every field goal, sack the QB every play, or drop into pass coverage and cover just about the entire field.

Common sence, perhaps you could enlighten us as to the true football reasons you would have 1st down on the 32, with 40 seconds and 2 time outs and fail to get a field goal off.

Considering the negative nature of this board, I can also understand where he was coming from. However, a few of his arrogant and condescending comments were a bit much for me.

Shouldn't your name be spelled Common Sense? But then that was pretty closed minded of me to note that. By the way, I always thought Charlie Mac was a class act. He was at LSU at the same time I was there (late 60's). If you played for him, congratulations, it must have been a magical time. Don't let the BS here taint your memories. I too left LA and I go back regularly to visit family and friends but I found a better place to live. Lache pas la patate, cher.

This.
<--Never played a down. It's a valid point, wish Sence wasn't bitter about it. But with the way everyone reacts to BS on this board being all offended and thin skinned, it's very reasonable for a former player to be frustrated when a bunch of nobodies think they're wise enough to concurrently serve as Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, Athletic Director, and Quarterback.

Taint his memories? I haven't seen too many people in this thread trying to tear down his playing career. I did notice one guy being a complete dick who went on to offend pretty much everyone who lives in Louisiana. Oh yeah, that was the jackass that started this pointless thread. Oh well, at least it was good for a few laughs.

Its sad that people who have played football for a long time really dont know much about the game. Just look at Archie Manning.
