Student helper/trainer.

I had a friend who did it a couple years ago.

Bullpen catchers are not always players. Staff coaches and assistants perform that role in some cases.

You can get a job as a bullpen catcher for an MLB team. I think that’d be a pretty cool job to have.

For a baseball junkie, this would be a great job. Pay is average, around $60,000, but there are per diems and other benefits that factor in as well.

You better be pretty damn good though. Your average college catcher couldn’t get a job as an MLB bullpen catcher.

I’m thinking this was suppose to be about *MiLB* bullpen gigs.

Idk about 60k/yr for MiLB most of em pay $20-$30/hr…or so I’ve heard

I think I would still rather be a NFL backup quarterback. I’m talking about the ones who hold the clipboard on the sideline during the game

For a catcher, it’s easier on your knees to be extremely short. You will never see a guy that’s 7’10” that’s a bullpen catcher in the major leagues.
