For me, the greatest true Tiger is a tie between 3:
Harry Rabenhorst
Jim Corbett
Skip Bertman

Les Miles and Jerry Stovall are not far behind. As are Alex Box and Mike Chambers.

Athletes: I'll go with Glenn 'Slats' Hardin - Olympian gold medal winner, or boxer Jack Torrance.
Football: Abe Mickal, Cannon or Casanova, Stovall
Basketball: Pete, Shaq
Baseball: Dark, McDonald, Furniss, Morris

And let's not forget John Ferguson and Jim Hawthorne.

Billy Cannon, but it could be Leonard Fournette if LSU beats Bama and wins the SEC to advance and win a NC.

Awfully hard not to put Patrick Peterson on that list. Best player on the field every game he played at LSU for two years. If he stays healthy he will be in the Hall of Fame

Also a true class act

Pete Maravich averaged 44.2 points a game without a three point line. If there was a three point shot in that era he would have averaged in the mid 50's a game. Nobody is close.

I mean if we're counting their NBA career as well then Shaq beats Pete.

That average is Pete's college average and does not include his NBA stats. He played in 83 college games while at LSU and averaged 44.2 points a game without a three point shot.

That is an NCAA record that has stood for the last 46 years.

Watching LSU football for 40 years Honey badger was no doubt the best football player I had ever seen at LSU He literally won 4 games by himself in 2011. I can never remember a player impacting the outcome of game like he did. He literally in each of those games made plays that changed the momentum in LSU favor like I have never seen. I was so bummed we didn't have a chance to see him one more year. LF7 and PP7 are in the same league.

SHAQ, Pete, Petit, CJ
Todd Walker Furniss

Greatest Four game career at LSU Cecil Collins
