i don't know how somebody could call themselves a LSU fan and not love LSU baseball. I started watchin when I was 14 in 94. Its so dramatic once we get to Omaha. If you're LSU fan it doesn't get any better than '97!!!!!

I remember listening to LSU baseball in the regionals in 89 when LSU beat Texas A&M twice and they were #1 at the time.

I also remember watching Ben McDonald, as a freshman, give up a grand slam to Stanford at the bottom of the 9th. Stanford went on to win the NC. I believe they repeated as well.

Ben McDonald still holds the CWS record for most number of home runs given up by a pitcher for a career. Ben jokes about it now and then when he works an LSU TV game.

I was a youngster and thought Big Ben was a mythical being that baseball had not seen the likes of. I guess I thought of him as Nolan Ryan.

And I AM READY!

Baseball serves the purpose of bridging the gap between football seasons.

in the early 2000s with smoke at the helm and Saban at the helm, yes that is true, but now, its very much the opposite

we have a pretty good team this year

NO you don't. UGA lost it's only two big bats plus you lose that little rat looking douche cerione. Only reason UGA was in most games last year was those three.
