Magnificently I am sure.

I'm impressed at his 20/20 hindsight baseball knowledge and wondered where it came from.

I have no doubt that he was as perfect as he demands of the current LSU layers and coaches.

I just regret that I missed an opportunity to witness his perfection in action.

I hold 5 school records and batted 1.000 of course.

ETA: And I'm doing the exact opposite of demanding perfection of the players. But I'm chastising the coach for... Wait for it... Not coaching.

Nobody is perfect. Not even coaches.

I don't have any idea which is why I asked.

I am awe struck that some one with his perfect analysis (albeit most of it post game) isn't actually coaching or managing in the sport.

They say those who can, do; those who can't, coach

I used to coach. Not anymore though.

And I can link you to my posts in the game thread about removing Newman. Or about not pinch hitting for Wofford. In real time. But that's not what this discussion is about now. We're talking about PM's reaction to a young team losing. And ironically, all over the rant, people are advocated calm. That we are young and it's early. While our coach fumes and rants himself.

Take a look at the game thread and you will see lots of posters contemporaneously question Coach's decision to take out Newman and his decision to not have anybody in the pen in the top of the 9th. This is what fans do. They aren't always right, but they were today.

I won't even ask the back story to that comment.

Sounded like he placed all the blame on Deichmann. I'm sure he's in the dreaded mainieri dog house now

At the end of the 7th Ell said "He shouldn't, but PM is gonna pull Mewman for no reason."

Then when we had runners on and Wofford was at bat he said "We need to pinch hit for Wofford. He won't do shite."

So I can attest to the fact that his analysis isn't hindsight.

Why not? I had 3 offers on the table when I left, but I hung it up to do something I actually got a degree in.
