LSU does not have the equivalent of a Herschel in terms of continuing adulation. At one time, Cannon fit the bill, but his criminal record and a whole lot of time have diminished that slightly. #20 is the closest we have.

Otherwise, you have (in no particular order) Tommy Cassanova, Patrick Petersen, and Kevin Faulk, but they don't equate to Walker-level of adulation among UGA fans.

Here are some that I think do equate: Archie at Ole Miss (with Eli not far behind) and Tebow at Florida.

PP7. He's the kind of guy that will be talked about for years to come.

Hester. Not many times you see a starting RB on kickoff teams and extra points, just because he doesn't want to come off the field for a second. I believe he would have played LB, if allowed.

no reason to argue, but how could you see rohan davey play through injury and bring our program from the depths of dinardo and not prefer him over jamarcus... maybe i just never got over 9 pts vs. auburn in '04 (with randall throwing our only TD)... ro never had near the surrounding cast of jamarcus... davis, bowe, doucet prob our best corp ever
