Staying in downtown WILL allow you to ride the light rail to Pasadena and take the free shuttle from the station to the Rose Bowl.

I'm planning on staying in Beverly Hills. Can you tell me more about this? Where can we pick up this train?

Saw that the other day. Finishing up our Hawaii honeymoon in LA for a Dodger game in July before heading back to Da Boot!

I don’t see what the big deal is with moving it to Las Vegas away from that shite hole state California

It’s a home game for UCLA. Why would UCLA move a home game to Las Vegas?

You people are morons.

Medtiger, no problem.

If you're gonna stay in Beverly Hills and you want to take the rail, the best bet might be to either take the Expo Line that runs from downtown to Santa Monica and back, or take the Red Line that runs from North Hollywood to Downtown and back. BH is in between the two lines. Those lines will take you to the downtown main station where all the lines converge. Once you get there, you can stay on the red line till it gets to Union Station, or you can get off the Expo Line, transfer to the red line, and ride THAT to Union Station. Either way, you need to get to Union station to transfer to the Gold line, that takes you to Pasadena.

Take the Gold line to the Memorial Park station, and get off there. Walk about two blocks to the free shuttle area for the Rose Bowl. Board the shuttle and it literally lets you off RIGHT IN FRONT of the Rose Bowl.

You can also drive to Union Station, park at their underground lot for $8 for the WHOLE DAY, and catch the Gold line from the station upstairs. If you drive to the game, parking will be well over $50 AND the traffic is NIGHTMARISH.

Here's a link explaining how to get to the Rose Bowl game, but the procedure is the EXACT SAME for a UCLA home game. Hope this helps!

Getting to the Rose Bowl via Metro Rail

By the way, the fare for Metro Rail is $1.75 One way, and $3.50 round trip. Only a fool would drive to this game.

Hi - Any tickets for sale at a reasonable price. I live in near UCLA and 33 yr old daughter and I both went to LSU (big fans) and looking for 4 tickets. Tickets online are close to $400 each. Any ideas?

The stadium did not sell alcohol when I attended 2 USC-UCLA games back in the late 90s and early 2000s. USC used to be the only PAC 10 school to allow alcohol sales in its stadium until the mid 2000s when they cut it off due to problems.

Probably 80% of this board said the same thing before the Wisconsin opener a few years ago. So, there’s that.

We have at least three better QB options than Brandon Harris ever hoped to be.

I booked my flight approx. 2 weeks ago. Spirit Airlines out of New Orleans, non-stop both directions. Roughly 4 hours in the air. Arriving early afternoon on Thursday, and leaving late morning on Monday. Either Friday or Sunday will involve a trip to Disneyland with my grandson.

Probably my only chance to ever see LSU play in the Rose Bowl stadium, so I'm all in.
