I'd have to say Bama. They have better linebackers. The rest of the defense is equal compared to LSU's.

This gives them the edge on D. I think we are better at the qb and wr receiver position, with the ever so slight edge to bama at rb. Oline is about equal

I give us the edge on special teams, they have made a huge improvement. Going to be a hell of a game

it's more then that, their linebackers are much better. Man i wish we had a Hightower for lber or a rolondo McClain. Why can't we get lber's like this

I don't give a shite what scouts and analyst say about NFL players, because the same or more has been said about bamas defense. They completely destroyed petrinos offense. There are no weak spots or holes. You have your opinion and I have mine and I think Alabama has the better overall d for now. I do think we have a better overall offense

Translation: They know way more than me, & I have no real response to you in light of that fact, GFunk.

It's real easy to put up points-and keep an offense off the field-when you're already down your best Defensive End, and then you lose your other starting DE on the 3rd play.

It's also apparent that Tyler Wilson isn't as advertised, and you do realize that Knile Davis is injured, right?

Oh, and anyone who thinks that wideout has recovered from last year after watching tape should contact me for great deals on Oceanfront Real Estate here in Denham Springs.

Their offense was smoke & mirrors. Their Defense *was* good before their best players-and best leader-went down with injuries.

Ultimately, you know not of what you speak. Not that that fact has ever prevented anyone from speaking.

Too early to tell. Bama's numbers look better, but they haven't faced the caliber offenses that LSU has.

aren't some incoming freshman supposed to be really good linebackers in the future? like torshiro and granier

Which was ranked 70th in total offense before the Bama game.

They're going to have to wait their turn behind Trevon Randle.

My prediction: Randle is a starter from the day he hits the field next Spring.

No sense in speculating. We'll find out on November 5.
Hopefully appropriate officiating will make that possible.

really? That bad? I did not know that. My apologies. I thought more of the petrino offense.

With all the freshmen that have been playing I don't know what to make of it. I am hoping he is good enough to see the field and they pull the shirt. Or maybe he is not as good as barrow or jones. I have heard good things though

DL: Lsu > Bama
LB: Bama > Lsu
DB: Lsu = Bama
Coaching: Bama > Lsu

Close but Chavis has convinced me now that he will draw up a few shitty game plans per season. Saban doesnt do this. Coaching gives them the edge IMO.

As of now Barron Lester menzie milliner and Kirkpatrick would get drafted when it's their turn to go.

As of now Mathieu Simon Reid Taylor and mo would get drafted when it's their turn

Barron Lester dre = higher grades

mo Simon and mathieu have higher grades

both teams have 5 minimum future NFL players playing major reps in the secondary. It's about as even, talent wise, as it could be.

Both teams are light years in front of EVERYONE else in CFB in defensive talent.

They have better lbers by far.

We have a deeper DL.

Truly two completely different, yet elite defenses. No one else in the country plays ball like us.

NFL Scouts on Saturday in the Press Box were saying that LSU has more than 4 NFL players in its secondary.

Right now.

More. Than. Four.

So tell me what Alabama's got, Brostradamus. Oh, and check in with your NFL scouting credentials at the same time.

Who on Bama's secondary won't be playing in the NFL?

Both teams have stupid talent in those positions, and trying to speculate which unit is more talented is retarded. They're too close to call.

I can't remember two teams as similar in talent as LSU and Bama right now.
