Good luck getting into anything at the Square with your LSU gear on. Plus the fact that LSU will blow out Ole Myth, their fans will leave early and take the three tables in each of their rinky-dink places. The good news is there is always Sonic.

they have an open container law now and will enforce it so no walking around with beer cans or bottles - need to pour your drink into a cup and you will be fine. it is a great atmosphere and there is plenty of eye candy around to feast your eyes on

We went once in 2000. We stayed at the casino in Tunica...didn't tailgate much before the game, which was at night. I remember it being cold and my buddy (Jose Verges, not his real name) got his flask confiscated as he tried to enter the stadium.

Ole Miss has liquor-nazis. It's true. When approaching the stadium, look up and you'll see actual Police with binoculars and looking for fans stuffing pants, purses, etc with liquor.
We walked in fine through the gate only to be approached by a cop in a near sprint who saw us 100 yards away stuffing our pockets.
The creepy part was, a week later, from a picture taken near the big M, you could see the cops up on the catwalk in the distance.
