Let's start by identifying everything Billy G has brought to the table, then go from there....

are you guys trying to speed up my departure from this world ? -lol

OK..... since we have a QB - supposedly with great throwing ability, we need to have an OC that can open up the play book some.
We need to have a passing philosophy that is as strong as a rushing philosophy.

We have to keep the ALs of the world from piling up on the line of scrimmage and taking our game away.

The Coaching Changes board is more sane for these types of questions.

Hire Monken to be OC/WR coach
Put Stud back to OL coach
Get rid of current TE coach and replace him with Tim Brewster. The guy recruits the hell out of Texas(got Vince Young) and he has alot of NFL experience as well(coached Antonio Gates as a rookie and 2 or 3 yrs after that). Hell he had lamichael james and a couple other Tx kids committed to Minny until Oregon paid to get him.

I'd like to see Larry Porter back or bring back Todd Monken. Another would be maybe Tyke Tolbert. I think Les will make a good hire who compliments Stud and Krags either way. We'll see.

I'm in the camp that wants Monken back as OC/WR Coach and move Stud back to OL. Probably wishful thinking though...

He will leave if we do this. That would be a demotion.

You think Tim Brewster would come to LSU to be a tight ends coach? Talk about a demotion.

Yes we will need a brilliant OC who can devise intricate sideline screen pass plays and QB option pitches. Apparently that's our playbook...
