Our bullpen against their No.2 starter. We played a hell of a game and just came up short.

Before or during the game?

I felt great in the bottom of the 8th when the ball was going into the right center gap

I wanted us to pull out a victory but wasn't sure we could win. Our best pitchers are coming up now.

Exactly. Could have won if not for mental errors and bad swings. They just kept swinging at BAD pitches.

The pitching kept the Tigers in the game. The coaches and bats failed the pitchers

No what killed us was keeping the bat on the shoulders on a number of balls left up and could have been taken yard.

Not a bad loss. We have our best for the next two so a 4-3 loss is not bad. We had our opportunities but you can't walk 3 and expect to win

That too. Bad at-bats and the blunder in the 4th cost them.

Before the game started I had my doubts. The bullpen held its own and gave us a chance. Singer was too good tonight. Tip of the hat.

I really thought we would pull it off, and should have.

Oregon State had only lost 4 all season. Bye Bye Beavers. We've got this.

Had to do it for One game so may as well Give poche the extra day. Time for the gritty senior all time winner to prove he's a champion.

I definitely didn't think LSU would win. I started having false hope as the game went on. Timely hitting was just not there at the end.
