I'm frustrated and disappointed in the season at this point, but I will always watch until the buzzer of the last game. Hell, cinderella tourney runs are great, and if this team could somehow flip the switch, they'd be a terrifying opponent for anyone.
Seriously, imagine you're the fan of some high seed, and you get to face this horribly underperforming but talented squad, with everything suddenly working. Strictly based on personnel, LSU has the potential to match anything.
I mean, honestly, can you imagine facing some athletic team with nobody bigger than 6'7 and little depth, we force a slow-down, deliberate game, and... big Elbert just goes in and slowly destroys them inside? Because say what you want about him, if he's playing halfcourt in the post and you have to defend him with Quarterman, Elbert will win that matchup, and will improve as the game progresses. It would be the stuff of legends.

Meh. If he explodes in the NBA, I'll probably just be more frustrated about his play here.

I have faith but I don't have confidence...... This team can do it they have the talent and size to beat anyone any given day but they just don't want it as much as we (the ones who bleed purple gold) do... But better believe I will be cheering them on

look at all your downvotes. man, frick this place. down voted 17 times so far trying to be upbeat.

This team is more equipped to make a run in a tournament format than any LSU team in recent years. on a neutral court, no team in the upper half of the SEC can be counted out.

have many upvotes sir, though I can only give you one

I am. I believe it is possible for this group to win the tournament. We've seen flashes of brilliance from this team, and if they can stay in the top four and get the double bye, they've got the talent to put a three game win streak in this conference.

Not saying it WILL happen, but it's possible.

Its ranters pride about the fact that their predictions were right about this team not being good that burns positigers. Like it should be commended.

I'm still keeping faith. This is a good team. I don't think we're done yet.
