Sure it may be entirely irrational, but there is no undefeated Kentucky lurking in the SEC tournament. Maybe the team puts it together at the right time. Let's not bury this team while the goal is still a possibility. Maybe some positivity from the fan base can motivate the team and build some momentum. I know it makes us feel better about our lives to shite on the players and coaches, but it ain't over til it's over. I guarantee ten years from now, every single one of you will take pride in the fact that Ben Simmons played at LSU, so let's appreciate the rest of his time in the uniform and understand he's young and still evolving as a player and a person.

I threw the towel in just before the Tenn. game.

Very disappointing season. Under achievement to the max imho.

That's obvious, but doesn't mean there's no hope.

LSU has shown glimpses of playing with the best, IE the OU game.

I think at this point it's all going to depend on the team's attitude. If they think they're out then they are. It's that simple.

But stranger things have happened.

Are you one of those people who think 1-the rant causes the team to play poorly and 2-the rant represents the majority of the fanbase?

I'm sure most people that the players and coaches interact with in person are more than encouraging and supportive. E-fans will never have any effect, positive or negative, on any major college sports program ever.

Eta: The whole notion that because some of us fans don't think we can get it done means we don't support them and want to succeed is completely ridiculous. I don't think LSU will make the tournament--does that mean I don't want them to? Hell freakin no. I'd be thrilled if we came through and got in. Because I don't see it happening makes me no less a fan. And to the posters who don't get that, .
This isn't directed at the OP, I'm just sayin. Ok I'm done.

I've moved on from LSU Basketball at least for this season. It started with the Alabama game. Quite frankly, I've seen Middle School & High School games where the teams play fundamental basketball better than this club. This is not an exaggeration. This club is very hard to watch when it comes to execution either on Offense or Defense. Now they are without Hornsby. I wish them luck but I just don't see it.

I'm still keeping faith. This is a good team. I don't think we're done yet.

Hornsby out is huge in a bad way. It wouldn't shock me if Missouri is the only team we beat down the stretch

I'm still going to watch and hope. Faith...when you see a team that outside of one kid does not look like they are trying or care...hard to have faith.

My LSU flag is flying outside our house. The talent on this team in unstoppable. CJJ has been to the Final Four before. It's the best time of year in Louisiana. Lets Geaux Tigers.

This team is done. Hornsby out leaves us no heart on the court. TQ has sold out and imo is going to go pro because he has just quit. Simmons isn't worried with getting this team to the tourney he has moved on to bigger and better things. Blankeny and Victor are our only hopes.

that's how I felt until I just read on dandy don that Hornsby is out for the season. Put a fork in it. It's over. This team with out Hornsby is scrapping the bottom of the barrel level of SEC teams.

I'll start believing when this team acts like they give a frick. Only a couple of players seem to show the fire.

Good point. I love LSU hoops and have stuck with them through very bad times and teams.

But Saturday, five minutes in I told my wife they look totally uninterested in being out there.

Why should I GAF when they don't (apologies to Blakeney who was IMHO the only one we to me seemed to GAF).

Why indeed? But hell, I just can't help it. I'll be watching and hoping tonight....hoping against hell I don't see the same attitude I saw out there Saturday.
