Just looking at numbers told me they had a good squad, but those guys are really a solid ball club. Stony Brook 2.0.

Well it's not over yet, and if we don't choke with the bases loaded it could have been a different ball game. You could literally feel the wind leave the tigers sails after that inning.

There is no drop off in their batting line up.

The Tigers have some dead spots right now and those guys don't know how to adjust.

Imo CPM is a great coach I was worried after the atm series that we may not make post season play at all than we go and get a top 8 seed. I'm impressed,

Lange just needed to post a zero in that next top half. That 2-2 borderline call to the lead off man that he didnt get was huge

I thought so to. Especially when I saw him later give that same pitch Bugg? But hey quit leaving runners stranded it's been that way all year with runners in scoring position.

Still hard to believe a tiny school like coastal fn Carolina has a better lineup than we do? How does this happen?

It's not that I'm impressed with them, it's that I knew we were likely not making it to Omaha. I was pleseantly surprised we got out of the jam last weekend that we did. Hopefully we can at least take a game from these guys.

Very impressed. Very well coached. They can bunt ...they must practice it a lot. Attention to detail.

They are a scrappy club. It looked like to me Coastal got in our heads.
Their pitching is good but nearly as good as advertised.
LSU needs to settle down and realize yes they will steal a base or two on us. They will get a few cheap runs. Just let that crap go. Strike them out, play good defense and hit the damn ball when we are on offense. Play our game and realize coastal will get a few cheap runs.

We aren't going to beat these guys in 1-2 game or a 3-2 game.

Not to piggyback on the goofy arse color guy from the broadcast, but we couldn't get a shutdown inning. Every time we scored they had an answer in the next half inning. That kept them in the game early and they blew it open in the 5th or 6th.

I know that isn't a groundbreaking revelation, but we never seized momentum and held it. That is huge playing at home IMO.

They may be the most experienced team we have played. All juniors and seniors with a couple of sophomores, and they play like it. That said, i do think we can still win the series.

Facial hair.

On a serious note, they've been around longer. Next year we'll likely return 7 of 8 position players and we'll be markedly better as a result. If they were a team of freshmen and sophomores they wouldn't be as good either.
