I hope Nola, Glenn, Eades, Newman, Bourgeios, and Cotton don't pitch tomorrow.

The first 4 have all started, and the other two guys are very valuable and have thrown enough.

Cotton absolutely better pitch tomorrow.

He's a closer, he's only thrown a very small amount of pitches the past 2 days.

Cotton probably hasn't throw 30 pitches dude. Josh, I typically like you but you've been awful this tournament.

Josh has been extremely Rantard this season. It's like someone hacked his account.

For a reliever though, when a guy has to warm up to throw three days in a row, they're far less effective. I'm not saying Cotton can't do it. He's not a power pitcher anyway, so it may not mean much. But a lot of guys can't handle 3 days in a row, no matter how much they throw in the actual games.

I have no issue with Bourgeois or Cotton pitching. And both could go 2 innings with no concern IMO, if necessary.

If I were CPM, every pitcher on the staff is available. I start Eades and tell him he's got 3 innings. Next is Nola for two innings, followed by Glenn for one inning. After that, whoever feels spry and wants to win the game.

I'm not worried about pitching as much as I am about the hitting. The bats are silent this week and that's not good headed into the stretch run of the postseason.

This is why Im not a fan of Cotton pitching tomorrow.

Sorry, but apparently I've been right a bunch.

Probably LaMarche and everyone else will be able to throw (of the relievers, not counting Nola/Glenn/Eades/Newman obviously)
