Tre held his own. Most DBs will struggle to cover a 6'5", 220 WR.

Dude is huge. KT would have sized up much better on him but we weren't putting a true freshman in his first game on him.

what? Tre played Wilson as good as anyone in the country and shut him down for majority of the game. Wilson got most of his stats on the last 2 drives and it was all short underneath plays. And he is 1 of the better WRs and biggest freaks in th country.

86 yards with little to NO safety help all night on 52 passing attempts against Wilson.
You need to think this through...
Tre singling up Wilson all night was the key to this defense being able to cheat against the run and give Toliver safety help.

White is a very good corner and he'll have a solid nfl career but I think if that game is played midseason, rather than game one, there is a pretty good chance toliver is assigned to Wilson all night. Not taking anything away from white. He just got bodied out at times where toliver's longer frame might not have.

Wilson is a freak, he is going to throw up stats vs everyone he plays. White did a good job but if we played them at the end of the season I agree Tolliver would get more snaps against him
