I don't remember clearly at this point, but if I had to guess, it would have been around the time that the players reported for fall camp and news broke that Avery wasn't going to make it. There was a thread on the recruiting board discussing the impact of him not being here. While I think the general tone of the thread was that posters were disappointed he wasn't going to make it, I think there were a couple of posts to the effect that it wouldn't/shouldn't hurt us... at least not this year. I don't recall anything overly negative, though it's possible someone added something like that after I exited from reading the thread.
