Miles or Malzahn? Does a win for the coach indicate a win for the program?

With either of these teams does it really matter? Only for the fact one will last longer than the other maybe other than that the result by the end of the season will be the same. Neither of these teams will compete for an SEC West title.

Both hold national championships, but have to compete with the Saban machine. No win situation.

Untrue. Malzahn did not win as a head coach, that was still Chizik. But both hold runner-up finishes in National Championship games, while Miles has actually won one..

Would it matter with AU?

They should get a new HC after about 3 years anyway. that way they can get back to the CC and NC more often.

There is a decent chance that whoever loses gets fired. So exciting!
