Which 2009 5 star signee (according to rivals) will fulfill their expectations next year: Shepard, Loston, Davenport. I guess you could throw Randle in there, but I think his limiting factor has been QB play.

He showed in the Bama game that if you get it deep to him, he'll make the play. JJ and JL made clutch throws in that game, and he made it count. I really think he's going to breakout this year.

Loston. he came on at the end of last year. seemed to know what he was doing more out there and the dude hits like a mack truck.

He will be leaving body bags in his wake.

Randle will be our go-to receiver this year. Out of that group, look for RR to be the standout in 2011. No question.

I also look for RS to get more involved in 2011. People have been too impatient with him. His time is coming.

I dont think I've ever wanted a player to live up to their hype as much as I have for RS. And a lot of it has to do with wanting him personally to succeed because he's meant so much to LSU as a recruiter and ambassador

i have to say Randle and Loston will probably come on big this year. i am hopeful that our offense will allow us to get Shep the ball more often in less predictable situations and if so i think he'll come on. i just don't know about Davenport; i'm hopeful i just don't know.

I think 3 0f the 4 will contribute heavily, with RR being a star.

I don't see how this could be anybody but Randle. He has been by far the best of that class' 5-stars. He will be the undisputed No. 1 receiver on next year's team. Loston looked good late, and may come on strong next year. Shepard has all the potential in the world. If Krags gets some of his single-wing packages out (i.e. wildcat) as he discussed in his presser, you'd have to believe that a backfield with Shep and Ware together would be pretty frightening for opposing defenses. You could line either one of them up in the "QB" spot, but the benefit would be that no one could anticipate who is getting the ball. Finally, Davenport to this point has been a non-factor. This is his make or break season I suppose given the D-line recruits of the last 3 classes.

All of them. Krags will get the best out of Randle and Shep. Watch and see. These guys are ready, willing and able to be big time difference makers.

From the moment he gave his verbal, he became everything you could ask for in a player. Not only is he dynamic on the field, but he's a complete class act. Good character, bleeds purple and gold, and represents the school very well. IMO, Krags is pissing his pants thinking of all the ways to give him the ball and let him do what he does best.

Agreed. I think Randle will lead the pack but Shep, Loston and even Davenport will show significant improvement IMO.

He was probably saying that b/c Randle was the clear choice based on what has been shown on the field, and he wanted to know which of the others would live up to the potential.
