ok bro, believe whatever you want. Its the rest of the world that's keeping time wrong at the end of games, and Miles is the only one that knows the correct time. Thats why it's happened multiple times.

Some of you people are such hyper-sensitive douche-bags about Miles that you cant even discuss his faults.

I can discuss them fine. But when someone such as yourself says he has more blunders than brilliant moments, which is completely false, I'm going to point it out to you.

I might get bashed for this, but here is my list without reading anyone else's post.

1. Nick Saban
2. Les Miles
3. James Franklin
Gus Malzahn
5. Steve Spurrier
6. Gary Pinkell
Mark Richt
8. Hugh Freeze
9. Butch jones
10. Kevin Sumlin
11. Dan Mullen
12. Brett Bielema
13. Will Muschamp
14. Mark Stoops

Some details:
1.Nick Saban is this generations Bobby Bowden, Peterno, Eddie Robinson. He is the best coach in college football. He is an arse, but the best none the less.
2. Les Miles has had some very tough schedules and his record speaks for himself. I'm not going to debate him since its talked about every week.
3. Tied: What James Franklin has done at Vanderbilt is unbelievable. That team is no longer just a team to raise the SEC's acedemics and recruiting to a school that is very hard to get into and doesn't put emphasis on sports much is outstanding.
Gus took a very bad Auburn team and completely turned it around. The team chemistry in a years time is just as impressive as their play. I have a feeling Florida State might not see them coming.
5. The ole ball coach. Experience is everything in sports. There is no situation he hasn't seen. His resume alone brings in recruits. Top off an out of conference schedule every year that includes Clemson, and his team is always in discussion for SEC title every year.
6. Tied. Gary Pinkell. Second year in the league and coaching like they were here the entire time. The only reason he isn't higher in my list is the injuries to Georgia, the decline of Florida, and the questionable Tennessee program. If he can repeat this success next year, he deserves more praise from the national media.
Mark Richt: Has the talent year in and year out. With the amount of injuries on this team, the year was full of head ache for him. Still had a couple big wins. Next year should be a better year.
8. Hugh Freeze. Capable of being a big time coach. Team is very good when its on. But not consistent in big games. They WILL improve I believe though.
9. Butch jones: Tenn was significantly better than last year. That's not saying much, but take it for what it is.
10. Kevin Sumlin. Out coached in his biggest games of the year. Take out Johnny Twohand touch and his team is no better than Tennessee. Let's wait a few years after to judge if he can be a better SEC coach.
11. Dan Mullen: Look, how to you convince high schoolers to come to Starkville? It's very hard to do. He is at least doing a decent job. A consistent bowl eligible team with no threat for an SEC title. How long until MissSt is happy with average?
12. Brent Bielema: 12 for potential only. Team was a mess this year. He has to adapt to a faster SEC style play. Has potential to do this. LSU game proved they could be tough when need to be. Can he get his team to do this for an entire year? Recruiting will be the main drive for his success.
13. Will Muschamp: bringing the end if the Florida football program one game at a time. They get too many good recruits on location and name alone. How long until that ends, especially if Florida State wins the Title? No excuse for the way his team has played under him by Florida's standards. Next year will be his last year if they do not compete for the SEC east.
14. Mark Stoops. GTFO the SEC.

I know. Tl:DR... Also, on IPhone. Sorry for spelling errors

#2 behind saban. Just go by sec titles and bcs titles. Only nick and spurrier can contend.

Malzhan possibly, but its not like Auburn didnt recruit well, hell theyve had numerous classes ranked higher than ours. Id like to see him continue to keep the program winning 9-10 games a year for 9 years.

No but you tools act like other coaches dont have faults. Just look at two of the most respected coaches, their teams wont be playing for a championship this year. Saban and Belichick. both lost games because of coaching blunders. Actually all of nicks losses are coaching blunders since hes had the most talent in the sec since 2002.

ETA:

I read NONE of the replies before preparing my answer and I am honestly surprised reading some of them.. I think Miles is a great recruiter but he is seriously lacking in literally every other coaching category. Almost every coach above is better than him at gameday coaching (clock management being a big factor), preparation, etc.. A lot of the success we've had under him can definitely be attributed to great coordinators and if you look at how the offense and defense has gone up and down according to who is coordinating them it is obvious. But, like I said, when it comes to recruiting he is the clear cut #2. If we could just move him to recruiting coordinator or something and get a good gameday coach we would be very well set IMO.

Explain how a not great coach has one of the best records over the last 9 years.

And leads the SEC with ten wins over top 25 BCS ranked teams in the last three seasons, but he's not a good game day coach.

Leads the SEC in wins, the top BCS conference by far, since 2005, but he is not a good game day coach.

You can't argue with stupidity.

our offense has gone up and down with who the qb was, thats true at any school, and since Les calls all the plays, yes he was accused of that this season, he has had some of the most potent offenses in the history of LSU.

But hes such a shitty coach yet hes beat evey guy ahead of him. And no he didnt do it on talent alone, we are not the most talented in the country. let alone the sec.

Im going by results, and the results show that in recent history only Nick saban has won the same amount of sec titles and is th eonly coach to play for more bcs titles.

How is Les Miles not #2? Maybe if the other coaches hired better coordinators then they would have actually won the sec, but they didnt, so how can they be better than Les? What is saban known for? His defense rt? He snot calling the offensive plays, so does that mean hes a shittier coach than spurrier or sumlin? Nick had some shitty offenses at LSU, 02 was worse than anything Les has fielded.

Look at 02 for instance. Who was on our staff? Muschamp, and fisher. two guys that miles bashers want over miles, yet with an amazing staff around him and incredible nfl talent, he manages to lose to arkansas.

Think about bama thisyear, after they blow their load against LSu they come out flat against moo state and auburn. Yet Miles is the only coach that cant get his team up to play? bama should have wiped the floor with those 2 teams.

who is this great gameday coach? Ill hang up and listen. Sure cant be talking about saban rt? Auburn, Tamu, LSU, utah, ULM, UF. all teams hes lost to at bama. What happened on those game days? he was sick or something?

2 top 10 finishes in the last 2 years, with less talent. Why do you not count his time at florida? Did he forget how to coach?

What is Miles record against Spurrier?

I didnt put Malzahn ahead of Saban.

And you put him over Les when it's 1-1 and he was the freaking OC for the first one? Dude had freaking Cam Newton. That is an asterisk in and of itself.

Yeah i forgot saban lost to usc, a school and coach Les has never lost to. but les is some terrible game day coach that doesnt deserve to coach an sec team.
